What is Toastmasters?

Toastmasters International is a world leader in communication and leadership development. Members improve their speaking and leadership skills by attending one of the 14,350 clubs in 122 countries.

Membership in Toastmasters is one of the greatest investments you can make in yourself. At $36 every six months (club dues may vary), it is also one of the most cost-effective skill-building tools available anywhere.

How Does It Work?

A Toastmasters meeting is a learn-by-doing workshop in which participants hone their speaking and leadership skills in a no-pressure atmosphere.

There is no instructor in a Toastmasters meeting. Instead, members evaluate one another's presentations with positive, constructive feedback. This feedback process is a key part of the program's success.

Cost

Your first six-month term with DFWAE Toastmasters is only $74, which includes:

  • New Member Fee ($20) — One-time fee provides your speaking and leadership manuals.
  • Toastmasters Membership Dues ($45) - 6 months of Toastmasters meetings.
  • Club Dues ($9) — Club funds for meeting supplies and membership drives.

Just $54 every six months continues your membership in Toastmasters.
